Book a Leak Inspection

If water is coming in right now, call rather than fill in a form. If you have a stain and time to plan, this is how the inspection works and what you get from it.

What the inspection covers

  • The attic where accessible, to trace the water's travel path uphill to the entry point
  • Every penetration: pipe boots, vents, chimney, skylights
  • Valleys, sidewalls, dormers and the eave line
  • Gutters and their discharge, since backed-up water causes a real share of leaks
  • Targeted water testing from the bottom up, to confirm the source rather than assume it
  • Sheathing condition where it can be observed
  • Overall condition, so you get an honest repair-or-replace answer

What you receive

  • Photographs of the source and of everything else of concern
  • A written scope of the repair
  • A per-sheet rate for any sheathing replacement, stated before work starts
  • An honest opinion on remaining roof life, and whether a repair is good value

Emergencies

Active water entry gets a call, not a form. We stabilise first — tarping and interior protection — then diagnose properly once it is dry, because a welded or adhered repair on wet material fails.

Nobody goes on a roof in lightning or high wind. That is not a delay tactic; it is how people stay alive.

Common questions

Do you charge for a leak inspection?

A diagnostic visit on an active leak is priced and stated up front, because finding a leak properly takes time and testing. You keep the photographs and written scope either way.

How fast can you come out?

Active water entry is triaged first. Call rather than submitting a form if water is coming in now — a form sits in a queue and a phone rings.
